Hand Action and Release in Golf Swing, Golf TipsRelease Hands to Square Golf Clubface to Hit Golf Ball Straighter
A good golf swing requires the minimum of hand action at impact, but if your swing is on the wrong path, good hand action at impact can save you from a bad golf shot.
The most efficient golf swing, and the easiest to repeat, is a swing that travels up and down on the same line without the need of any adjustments. If the back swing is out of plane, and not on line, the golfer has to make a compensating move on the downswing.
